Terms of service.

By inviting Elle to a Discord server, using an Elle command, signing in to the website, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply in addition to Discord's own terms, policies, and community rules.

You must meet the minimum age and other eligibility requirements that apply to your use of Discord in your jurisdiction. If local law requires a parent or guardian to consent to these Terms, you may use Elle only with that involvement.

Elle provides tools for Discord servers, including moderation, server management, community features, economy and game features, social commands, and a web dashboard for configuration.

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the Service develops. Some features may require specific Discord permissions or server configuration before they can function.

Elle relies on Discord accounts and Discord authorization. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for actions performed through it.

Dashboard access may depend on whether Discord reports that you own a server or have sufficient permissions to manage it. You may not attempt to access or configure a server you are not authorized to manage.

You agree not to use Elle to:

• violate applicable law or Discord's rules;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or abuse others;
• conduct raids, mass spam, or coordinated disruption;
• distribute malware, malicious links, illegal content, or content intended to compromise another person's account or device;
• exploit bugs, duplicate currency or rewards, manipulate persistent systems, or otherwise obtain an unfair technical advantage;
• bypass rate limits, access controls, moderation systems, or security measures;
• reverse engineer, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for the modules, automations, permissions, bypasses, protected roles, and other settings they enable. Some moderation features can remove messages or take actions against members when configured or invoked.

You are responsible for configuring Elle in a way that is appropriate for your server and for reviewing the actions taken by your moderators and automated settings.

Elle depends on third-party services, including Discord and infrastructure providers used for hosting, authentication, databases, networking, or other technical functions.

Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their own terms and policies. Elle is not responsible for outages, restrictions, policy changes, or failures caused by a third-party service.

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of Elle at any time for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or uninterrupted.

Access to Elle may be limited, suspended, or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect other users.

You may stop using Elle at any time by removing the bot from your server and discontinuing use of the website and dashboard.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, permanent availability of stored settings, or compatibility with every Discord update or third-party service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Elle's operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When they are updated, the date at the top of this page will be changed. Continued use of Elle after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer or statutory rights that cannot be waived by agreement.
