This Policy applies to Elle's Discord bot, website, dashboard, and related services. It does not replace the privacy policies of Discord or other third-party services that you use alongside Elle.

The information Elle processes depends on which features you use. It may include Discord account information, server information, configuration settings, command inputs, feature state, moderation records, and technical information needed to operate and secure the Service.

When you interact with Elle or sign in to the website with Discord, we may receive information Discord makes available through the permissions you grant, such as your Discord user ID, username or display name, avatar, and the servers associated with your account that are relevant to dashboard access.

We use this information to authenticate you, determine which servers you can manage, display your account in the dashboard, and perform bot features you request.

To provide persistent features, Elle may store information associated with a Discord server or user. Depending on the modules enabled, this can include:

• server configuration and dashboard settings;
• moderation records, warnings, and timed actions;
• economy balances and related transaction state;
• AFK, relationship, counting, invite, or similar feature data;
• identifiers for channels, roles, servers, and users needed for configured features;
• limited command, event, or technical data when needed to carry out a feature, investigate abuse, or troubleshoot an error.

Elle is not intended to operate as a general archive of every message in a Discord server. Message content may still be processed when a feature requires it, such as moderation, counting, logging, command handling, or other enabled automation.

The website may use essential cookies or similar session storage to keep you signed in, protect authentication flows, and maintain basic site functionality.

Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, request timing, and error information may also be processed by the website or infrastructure providers for security, delivery, and troubleshooting.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page views and website usage without analytics cookies. We remove query strings, fragments, and Discord IDs from tracked page URLs and honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

API rate limits use temporary hashed IP keys to protect the website from abuse. Expired counters are cleaned up during subsequent API activity.

We use information processed through Elle to:

• provide bot commands, modules, and dashboard features;
• authenticate users and determine server access;
• save server configuration and persistent feature state;
• perform moderation and automation requested by a server;
• protect the Service against abuse, fraud, or security threats;
• diagnose errors, maintain reliability, and improve the Service;
• respond to support, privacy, or account-related requests.

Elle relies on third-party providers for services such as Discord authentication and APIs, hosting, databases, networking, and other infrastructure. Those providers may process limited information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, necessary to protect the Service or its users, or involved in a legitimate transfer of the Service to a successor operator.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the feature for which it was collected, to operate and secure Elle, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, or meet legal obligations.

Persistent server settings and feature data may remain stored while a server continues using those features. Some limited records may be kept longer when necessary for security, abuse prevention, backups, or legal compliance.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you.

You can also stop using Elle, remove the bot from a server you control, or revoke Elle's authorization through your Discord account settings. Requests concerning stored data can be submitted through the official Elle support channels.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service and information processed through it. However, no internet service, database, or authentication system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Elle is not intended for anyone who is below the minimum age required to use Discord in their jurisdiction. If we learn that personal information was collected from someone who cannot lawfully use the Service, we may delete that information and restrict access.

Elle may be used by people in different countries, and information may be processed in locations other than the country where you live. Privacy protections can differ across jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Elle changes. When the Policy is updated, the date shown at the top of this page will be revised.
